Sue Sullivan

I have worked for Colchester Mind (now Mid and North Essex Mind) for 15 years.
I came from a counselling background with my own business when I was looking for a change; I joined the charity as a part time worker in adult services.
I quickly progressed to full time and loved working with such a wide variety of people. My passion grew as I began to understand the challenges people with mental health problems face every day wherever they are on the spectrum.
I have developed and managed a number of adult services. I love working creatively with staff, volunteers and the people we support to help improve quality of life. I am always on the lookout for more opportunities because I know what helps is very individual.
I take care of my own wellbeing by enjoying my time with family and owning a very large dog who has to be walked every day, rain or shine!
