Walk and talk

Walk and talk is designed for people suffering with or recovering from mental illness. People that are lonely, depressed, run down, ill but able, or even just fed up.

It is designed to help with isolation and loneliness, get people out of their houses and rooms into the fresh air and takes place in Colchester, Harwich and Clacton. Refreshments are provided half way and people can bring their dogs, their family, their friends or even ride along in a mobility scooter.

We try never to focus on peoples medical or mental health problems but enjoy talking about the scenery, the weather, TV – just chat and laughter.
