Mental Health services today launch the ‘Being Kind to Yourself’ campaign to celebrate Mental Health Awareness Week 2020. The campaign will see a series of video’s streamed during the week to encourage us to take time for ourselves and practise self-care in these uncertain times. Each video will cover a different topic and are free to access via the Mental Health and Wellbeing Awareness Essex You Tube Channel
Mental Health Awareness Week aims to raise awareness of mental health problems and the services available to support people. This year’s theme is Kindness and Heads Up, Health in Mind, Mid and North East Essex Mind and Mind in West Essex have come together to produce a series of videos to help support people practise self-kindness.

Wednesday 20th May – How to Build your resilience and Wellbeing
Thursday 21st May – Poetry for Positivity & Mindfulness
Friday 22nd May – Three Methods of Mindfulness
Saturday 24th May – Sleep Hygiene
Sunday 25th May – 6 Ways to Wellbeing
