Supporting young people aged 16 – 25 years with Autistic Spectrum Disorder through Connect
Mid and North East Essex Mind will be bringing the ASD Connect Service to a close with the service due to cease on 30th September 2021.
Our Service started in 2019 as a pilot project and has continued to work consistently with young people and their families for the last two years. Please be assured that there will be a new service commissioned which aims to provide support for children and young people, aged 0-25 years, with neurodevelopmental conditions. More information will be shared on the new service once it is available.
Our ASD Connect Team have worked closely with Commissioners and other services/organisations to ensure the right support is available to children, young people and their families, and we are delighted to see that this work will be continuing into the future.
Out team has spent their time over the last few months working with our young People and their families to ensure they are supported throughout this period of change and we will work collaboratively with any new service to transition our young people we are working with currently into the new/other appropriate services.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has supported us and worked with us to provide the support and care needed and we will continue to ensure our children, young people and their families’ voices are heard.
