If you are experiencing loneliness and it is affecting your mental health or your mental health has left you feeling lonely you might find some helpful support through our services.
STaR Service & Friendship Group
Our STaR team offer practical support to adults living with a mental health problem. There are lots of ways we can support you through this services including finding and supporting you to access groups locally to help ease feelings of loneliness. Clients within the STaR Service can access our bi-weekly Friendship Group in Colchester for support and company. There is more information about our STaR Service on our website.
Futures in Mind
Futures in Mind is open to anyone living with a mental health and/or drug or alcohol misuse problem looking for peer support. Through this service you can access our Welcome Cafes which take place across the area, these are informal weekly meet-ups to enjoy a coffee and the company of those with similar experiences. In addition to these we run activity groups and a nature project with Essex Wildlife Trust.
Through this service you can also access a befriending service.
