Maldon based financial planning company, TFP have taken on the 2020 Challenge, to raise £2,020 during 2020 for Mid and North East Essex Mind.

A team of 10, made up of employees and clients of TFP, will be trekking to the highest point in the UK, Ben Nevis on 28th June 2020. The trek takes place over three days, covers nine miles and finishes at the summit some 1,343m (4,409ft) above sea level.  Trekking Ben Nevis is a challenge and will require lots of stamina and determination.

Julie Arthur, Corporate Fundraising Manager for Mid and North East Essex Mind said ‘We are delighted to be working with TFP and supporting them with their fundraising throughout the year.  I am confident that they will smash their 2020 Challenge target with their Ben Nevis Trek as well as raise aware of mental health.  Support such as this allows us to continue to grow our counselling, peer support and practical support, as we believe no one should have to face a mental health problem alone.’

Dan Haylett, financial planner at TFP said ‘As someone who has personally experienced mental health issues over the last couple of years, I am delighted that we at TFP Financial Planning are able to help and support Mid and North East Essex Mind. They do fantastic work in the local community which I have experienced firsthand and I’m thrilled that we can help them so that they can continue to support people with mental health problems when they most need it.’
