The inspirational team at Marvan’s Tree Surgery and Landscaping based in Harwich put their heads together and have created a rather cheeky 2021 Calendar with all the proceeds going to Mid and North East Essex Mind.

Danny Marvan, Managing Director, says ‘This is a cause very close to our hearts and we are very focused in ensuring that our team’s mental health is as well cared for as the grounds and gardens we maintain. We hope that the 2021 calendar, along with messages from each of the team offer inspiration to anyone who finds themselves struggling; you are never alone’.

The 2021 Calendars are still available to order from the Marvan’s website and were created in association with Raluchase photography.

January’s Man of the Month is….

Prune off the things that don’t make you happy in life! Tidy garden, Tidy mind!

Martin is the grounds maintenance team leader at Marvan’s and hobbies include walking and trekking and watching sports. When asked how he looks after his mental wellbeing, Martin told us he enjoys playing puzzles to keep his brain active and walking by the sea to clear his mind.

Thank you to Marvan’s Landscaping for their fantastic support and their tips on how to stay mentally well which you’ll be able to read in the calendar.

‘January’ was sponsored by Vision Magazine. Pippa Major, Manager, says ‘we are proud to have had the opportunity to support Danny Marvan and his team in the creation of the 2021 calendar to support the Mid and North East Essex Mind in our local area. Mental health is such an important factor in our day to day, we encourage all involved across our businesses be to open and promote an open door policy which we have found has enabled us to run a happier and healthier work place for all. The work Mid and North East Essex Mind facilitates is incredible and quite literally life changing, after all happy employees are productive employees!’.

Each month, we’ll bring you a new ‘Man of the Month’ to coincide with the release of the calendar – stay tuned!
