There are so many ways in which you can support us, it goes a long way in helping people in your local area who are experiencing mental health problems. Take a look below to see the different ways in which you can help us.
Fundraise for us
Whilst we are affiliated with national Mind, we in fact don’t receive any regular funding from them and instead rely on the generosity of individuals and businesses to raise money for us to help keep our services going in the local area. Take a look at our fundraise for us page to find out more about how you can help raise funds for our services.
If you want to raise some money or donate to support the work we do in the local area, please make sure you are clear on any fundraising or cheques that the money is for Mid and North East Essex Mind as this means we can use this money locally. We cannot take donations to ‘Mind’.
As a charity, we rely on volunteers to raise awareness, fundraise and help deliver our services so if you have some spare time and would like to help out, visit our volunteer jobs page to find out more.
Attend our events
We have a fantastic team of supporters who organise events in aid of our charity, so if you’d like to support them please visit our ‘What’s On’ page to find upcoming events in your local area.

Share your story
If you have a personal story that you would like to share with us, then we would love to hear it! We are looking for current or past service-users who are happy to tell us about their experiences with mental health and how our services have helped them.
It can be tough to open up about experiencing a mental health problem but knowing someone has gone through the same things as you and is on the road to recovery can really inspire people to seek the help they need – so please do get in touch and let us know about your experiences; you can remain anonymous if you wish. Please email Steph Mills at S.Mills@mnessexmind.org or call 01206 764600. Alternatively you can fill in a ‘Share your story’ form and send it back to us.
If you want to change your details or your choices about how we contact you please visit our my details, my choice page.
As a member of the Fundraising Regulator, we respect their fundraising promise and code of conduct for any fundraising activity we undertake. This also means we make sure we have an easy to follow complaints policy. Please visit our Fundraising Complaints page to find out more.
