Give in memory of someone

Giving in memory of a loved one or friend is a very personal way of remembering them – and supporting Mid and North East Essex Mind. If you want to talk to us about donating in memory drop the fundraising team an email on or give them a call on 01206 764600.

You can support us in memory of your loved one in lots of ways:

Collect at a funeral

Collecting donations instead of flowers at a funeral can help us to continue to provide support for everyone affected by mental health problems.
Most funeral directors are willing to collect donations on your behalf, handling the administration of these gifts for you and making sure they are passed to us. Please remember to tell the funeral director that donations must be made out to ‘Mid and North East Essex Mind’ and not ‘Mind’ in order to ensure we can accept the donation and use the money raised to help people in the local area.

Donate or set up a regular gift

If you would like to remember someone by making an online donation or regular gift in memory, please donate here.

Create a ‘Much Loved’ tribute page

You can create your own unique and lasting tribute website in memory of your loved one. It is very easy to set up and only takes a couple of minutes. You can personalise the design, add memories, photos, music and videos as well as invite friends and family to visit and contribute. Click here to create a Much Loved page in memory of a loved one.

Hold an event in memory

Getting together with friends, family and neighbours or taking on a personal challenge is a great way to support Mid and North East Essex Mind in memory of a loved one plus we think it feels great too.
The only limit on what you do is your imagination. You could take part in an organised event such as a run, skydive, cycle or swim or organise your own event; from holding a concert, to washing cars, to collections and sponsored silences – the options are limitless.
