Richard Hepburn is headlining this year’s Redoubt Beer Festival as well as playing a selection of other gigs all to raise money for Mid and North East Essex Mind. All proceeds raised will go to our charity.

Mid and North East Essex Mind have been chosen as one of the Mayor of Colchester’s supported charity for 2019. Join us for a Curry and Quiz evening – tickets are £20 per person and includes an 8 round quiz and a buffet Gurkha curry. There will also be a raffle, pay as you go bar and parking & disabled access.

Aegon Charity Golf Day

Our corporate partner, Aegon, are organising a Charity Golf Day in aid of Mid and North East Essex Mind, and South East and Central Mind.

There is a morning and afternoon competition and the individual winner will be the inaugural champion of the Ray Smith memorial trophy.

There will be prizes for the best dressed team, morning team event, morning individual, afternoon team event, afternoon individual, longest drive and nearest the pin.

HOPE Festival

Join us at the HOPE (Hold On, Pain Ends) Festival in Brightlingsea which is aimed at promoting positive wellbeing and helping you to feel healthier, more connected and at ease with who you are. There will be plenty of things to get involved with throughout the day!

There will be many local stalls selling stunning handmade items, created by inspirational people as well as an opportunity to spend time with beautiful souls, reminding us how to celebrate life and it’s ever changing beauty!

There will also be lots of workshops available – each one is unique and will help lift the heart and spirit.

The day will consist of three parts:

11am – 1pm – Meditation, Yoga, Relaxation, Art, Wellbeing, Life Coaching workshops and interactive fun games.

1pm – 5pm – Live bands, Pimms/Cocktails/Beer, and lots of great food

5pm onwards – DJ and after-party (tickets available for a £10 donation on the day)

All profits will be donated to Mid and North East Essex Mind.

Gala Dinner

Join us for our inaugural Gala Dinner to celebrate World Mental Health Day. We will start with a champagne reception and three course meal before we hear from our guest speaker Peter Shilton OBE. Afterwards we will enjoy entertainment from Jazz and Blues vocalist Steffi Shilton, the Rat Pack and the Welsh Tenor.

This very special event will mark World Mental Health Day in style and raise money for our community mental health services.
