Mental Health Awareness Week

No Mind Left Behind

This year the 13th-19th May is Mental Health Awareness Week. Alongside Mind we are taking part in the #NoMindLeftBehind campaign.

Every year, 1 in 4 of us will experience a mental health problem. But too many of us aren’t getting the help we need. With your help we can build a better future, where mental health is handled right.

Mental Health Awareness Week 13 – 19 May

Every year, 1 in 4 of us will experience a mental health problem. But too many of us aren’t getting the help we need.

Over 2 million people are waiting for NHS mental health services. Since 2017, the number of young people struggling with their mental health has nearly doubled.

That’s why we’re launching #NoMindLeftBehind for Mental Health Awareness Week 2024. We’re calling on you to raise awareness and vital funds for a future where everyone can get quality mental health care when they need it.

Get involved this Mental Health Awareness Week:

  • Spread the word. Share our campaign on social media throughout the week. And encourage your friends and family to do the same.
  • Donate today to help us drive change and be there for more people who need us.
  • Organise or take part in a fundraising event. We are an independent charity and rely on grants and donations to support our community.

Together, we can make sure that no mind is left behind.

Find us on the Chatty Bus!

Wed 15 May

On Wednesday 15th May, Go East Anglia is bringing back their Travelling Chatty Bus to mark Mental Health Awareness Week 2024. Look out for us on on the 74 and 76 routes between Clacton and Colchester!

What is the Chatty Bus?

The concept behind Go East Anglia’s Chatty Bus is that the bus can provide much more than simply a means of getting from A to B. It connects people and communities, providing passengers with a means of transport that is a social lifeline for many who feel the effects of isolation, which can be particularly prominent in rural areas.

Chatty Bus aims to combat loneliness and social isolation across our community.
