Time to Talk Day with Colchester United FC

Our CEO, Ginny, recently visited Colchester United Football Club to have a chat about mental health with players Jamie Newstead and Conor Hall. They all got together on Time to Talk Day to discuss the importance of opening up about mental health.

During the conversation, Jamie Newstead, a key player for Colchester United women’s team, talked about her experiences and stressed the need for a supportive environment where athletes can freely talk about their mental well-being without feeling judged.

Conor Hall, captain for Colchester United, also emphasised the importance of movement for mental health, and the role it has in keeping us mentally healthy as well as physically.

*Chatty Bus at Saturday’s Game – Come Say Hi*

We’re keeping the mental health conversation going by being present at Colchester United’s game this Saturday. Our Chatty Bus will be outside the stadium, providing a chance for fans to talk with us, share their thoughts on mental health, and be part of the conversation.

If you’re going to the game, swing by the Chatty Bus, introduce yourself, and join in on the discussion about mental health. Let’s work together to break down the barriers and create a community that supports one another.
