November is Men’s Mental Health Month
At Mid and North East Essex Mind, we work all year round to create a community where men feel supported, understood and unembarrassed to talk about their mental health.
This month, we’re shining an extra spotlight on men’s mental health by sharing short videos from men across our local community – some offering personal reflections, others sharing words of encouragement. Every message helps normalise conversations that many men still find difficult to start.
We’re bringing together volunteers, lived experience panel members, community partners, colleagues, veterans, sportsmen and local advocates to contribute to this campaign.
Some share insights from their own journeys, while others offer supportive messages to help break the stigma.
Together, their voices show that speaking up is courageous – and that none of us should face things alone.
